So right now I'm listening to T.Swifty muh girlll! :D love love love her new album Red. There isn't one song on it I don't love! and drinking my hot tea! Getting some blogging stuff done. Today we went to the Animal Control Center(The Pound) in our area.. they hardly have any dogs/puppies there but an infinite amount of cats/kittens. There has been two times we have walked in to adopt a cat one we just fell in love with.. we went and got the lady to allow us to take the cat out and hold it.. we would come back and someone would be taking it home :( its like a heart breaking moment because I really wanted both of those kittens. but there will be more, all in all I'm just glad they have a home now. But we went today and we didn't really see any that we connected with or that got along with our son. So another time. We will finally be out of this hotel next week on Wednesday! CANT WAIT!!! To finally be in a place we can call home! So exciting! Cannot wait to decorate it etc.
Anyways heres some T.Swifty dose for you!!!
I def have some exciting Hauls, and reviews coming up!!!
So I needed to pick up a few things.. I am almost out of my Maybelline Volum'Express the Mega Plush (which by the way I LOVE) , also my Covergirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Brown is down to the tip haha you know what I'm talking about to where you will sharpen it to the very end because you love it so much. Also my current black eye liner is just not my favorite, I don't like it at all its the L'Oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner.. It smudges when trying to apply it to my eye.. not to mention when i sharpen it, since its so soft it just breaks off in the sharpener. wahh. So I decided i would go back to my favorite eye liner since it came out. Covergirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner its a perfect dupe for Urban Decays 24/7 Eyeliner Pencils.. since I forgot to bring some with me on the plane and apparently packed them up in boxes back in Ohio I have to wait till I can use those again (wahh this sucks big time) and I decided since I'm trying the "Less Is More Method" with my skincare regimen I would try out these Say Yes to Blueberries Facial Wipes! I LOVE BLUEBERRIES! I have heard great things about this brand and this is my first time ever trying it.. Although it is to pricey for some facial wipes 8.99$ geeesh! but we will see how I feel about them. Have you Hauled anything recently??
So since moving to Alaska my skin has been going through it, the big climate change, weather change, the air is different, the water is different.. and your probably like " uhhhh no its the same everywere." well you would be wrong. Back to topic, my skin has just been going crazy and here's what was/is going on: - Very VERY Oily in my T-Zone. -ALOT of Breakouts on my forehead -Then breakouts in random places at a time like cheek, chin temples. -Pores on my nose got bigger -And I started getting those under the skin breakouts (where its just a red bump on the surface, it hurts and if you try to pop it it just gets WORSE) yeah those!
So I recently quit smoking(YAY) 5 days ago, 1.) because its just very bad on my body 2.) I want to be alive till my son is in his 80s hahaha :p 3.) Terrible for my skin, nails, and hair. It has been a little challenging, but I think the first week is easy peasy, but then after that it gets a lot more difficult( yeah I have quit before the most I lasted was 9mnths for pregnancy..or was it 10..) After quitting I have already noticed that the ashtray breath is gone, lets be real no matter how many times us smokers brush our teeth we still taste and smell like an ashtray. Also that the oily-ness has gone down a lot! I have never had a problem with Oily skin NEVER until recently :/ But that in some way my dark circles have actually gotten a lot less dark.. if that makes sense to you? I mean that they aren't as defined as before, I look a lot more well rested. BUT back to the reason I wrote this post its because... Well I have been reading online for ways to get rid of all this oil, and get my skin back to normal, and clear up these breakouts. A lot of what I found is buy this skin care set, or this one. When really these face washes just make things worse the more you wash your face with products with harmful chemicals the worse your skin gets, you think its helping but really its not.. maybe for some people its different but for me its true.. So the same day I quit smoking I also stopped using face products that weren't fully organic. Most days I just rinse with warm water for 1-2 mins then For another 1-2 mins I rinse with cold water, it removes the oil and dirt and helps my pores(opens them then closes them not to mention the temp change helps make your skin look more awake and not dull) And if i wear makeup that day, I remove it with this special home made make up remover I now use (yeah I got rid of the Bliss Make up remover) which if your interested I will make a post about and show you how to make your own. but since i quit smoking and stopped using face washes that have all these chemicals in it my skin surprisingly has gotten better.. Its drilled into us that to have clean skin you have to constantly wash it.. but i say NO WAY! Back in the day they didn't have these face washes NO. did they even wash their face? That I do not know! BUT if they did.. it was with Organic, Earthly things they made themselves! I mean WHY NOT?! it saves money and your skin. So after JUST FIVE DAYS my T-zone is no longer over producing oil, in fact my T-zone scale of 1-10, 1 being best 10 being worse.. It was at a 10.5 not its at a 4. That is a BIG CHANGE! The breakouts have actually gotten better they are still there but trust me they have gone down a lot! I really wish I had a before and after picture! I am still looking for alternatives to face washes whether it be organic or homemade.. I am also in the market for organic moisturizer, eye cream, body wash, lotion and serum. I will be getting Organic Shampoo/Conditioner, once I use up my current shampoo/condition.. I hate to waste! or If I find one I just love before then I will probably send them to my sister haha. What good are you doing for your body? Do you use organic, earth friendly, chemical free body/skin/hair products? Thoughts?
"This luxurious air-whipped body butter is quickly absorbed to deliver rich hydration for a wonderfully indulgent (and addictive!) experience. Our SOy Milk and Honey souffle is enriched with Shea Butter an Squalane to help restore skin, along with antioxidant-enriched Jojoba Butter and Beta Carotene to protect and soften skin"
Kiehl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter, this stuff is a Holy Grail item. Granted it is very expensive..but in my opinion totally worth it. There are two different sizes so two different amounts for 8 oz jar it is 38$ for a 12 oz jar it is 48$. I decided to go with the 12 oz jar, and I have had it for about a year now and I'm almost out!!! noooooooooo. :( This stuff smells so amazing & delicious, it honestly makes you want to consider to try to eat yourself ;p Every time I wear this Body Butter my Husband constantly comments on how good I smell! This Body Butter would be to heavy for summer or spring, but is perfect for Fall/Winter. It keeps your skin moisturized all day/night long, I like to apply it after a show. It doesn't sit on your skin..it soaks right into your skin. :) This is TOTALLY & COMPLETELY worth the price tag. Trust Me, This is one Splurge you won't regret you made. This body body is so rich and decadent. Have you tried any of Kiehl's products?
Its that time of year for your want/wish/christmas lists!!! Have you made yours yet? I bet you did.. I started on my actually in August haa believe it or not. So here are the things I want as far as beauty/skincare/fragrance wise! Its always always been a tradition with my sisters and mom/dad that we would go get a bunch of store magazines or fashion magazines go online etc and write down everything we wanted.. of course we would have pages upon pages. haha. we knew we were getting it all, but afterwards we would star our top choices and our parents would choose a few things they would get us from that list, it was always so much fun. Point being I know I'm not getting all of this for Christmas.. BUT its still my wish list so OVER TIME( probably TAX TIME) I will def be getting the things I didn't get for Christmas then. :D
Sigma Mrs.Bunny Brush Set
Jeffrey Campbell RoksHi Shoe
Taylor Swifts new fragrance Enchanted WonderStruck
Polar Watch FT40 :)
The items on my wish list are quite expensive!! :) BUT i think totally worth it!
Have you made your Christmas Wish List yet? Whats on your list?
Bliss Lid+Lash Wash Makeup Remover cost 13.60, I bought it at my local PX (on base) but you could buy it anywhere Bliss products are sold. Onto the review, I was really hoping that this could be a gel dupe for Mac Cleanse Off Oil.. but instead in Gel form.. I was wrong. I have only had this for about 2 weeks now, and its just about empty!! Not to mention it does a terrible job at removing makeup, I will have to use it about 4-6 times for the makeup on my eyes to be completely gone, hence it being just about empty. I will probably only get maybe one or two more uses from it. I would not buy this product again.. its on one of those Regret Ever Buying lists and do not repurchase lists. This wash/makeup remover is also very drying on my eye lashes, makes them very brittle. So I will have to apply a conditioner to my Eye Lashes to help stop that drying. I do not like this product at all, guess I will have to keep looking for a Mac Cleanse Off Oil Dupe, one that is better or just go back to it.
So me and my son recently joined my husband in Fort Richardson, Alaska. The plane trip was very very long! The day before I didn't get any sleep I was to busy finishing up packing boxes and our luggage. Everything had to be ready for when the movers go to get our stuff from old place. It was EXTREMELY stressful to say the least. I pretty much spent my whole day on the plane or at the airport.. but since Alaska is four hours behind Ohio my day was even LONGER. No jet lag thank goodness. The weather here is definitely cold to say the least, especially when the wind gets going. We are currently living in a hotel off base now, until November 28th when we move into OUR HOUSE!!!! I am very very excited to finally get settled in and have a place to call home! :) The mountains here are beautiful!! Its like looking at the cover of a nature magazine. There are a few things I would like to see in Alaska but haven't I mean I have 3years to do so. 1.) See the Northern Lights 2.) see a moose 3.) Build an Igloo. I mean I HAVE ALWAYS wanted to see The Northern Lights and now that is possible, just have to find a place that the street lights/lamps and what not don't cover them up! We won't be able to have our cat Enzo sent to us because the temperature here is to low so we are thinking of giving him away to a caring/loving home because it would be months till he could get here and he would just be to lonely! :( either way it makes me sad! But we will be buying a new puppy at the end of the month or beginning of December.. I want a Labrador Retriever Puppy (yellow) :D I have already found a few that I am looking into! OH, and also I saw an Igloo the other day, we were staying on base in temp lodging but moved to a hotel off base temporarily..but someone built an Igloo outside of the temp lodging!! I was like omg!! I can't believe it, how did they do that?! haa. Anyways here are some pictures!!
OH & a very very very VERY cool thing is they have an ICE SKATING RINK INSIDE THE DIMOND MALL I mean?! COOL!!!! I've never seen that before! I saw in the newspaper people ice skating on local ponds and lakes! I mean i need to do some of that!!! My son would most def enjoy that!
My Son sleeping at the airport with his Panda Pillow Pet
Playing in the snow!

Awesome Igloo someone built!
Moose display! they have these everywhere!

My son was DJ Lance from Yo Gabba Gabba for Halloween this year!
I recently ran out of my last makeup remover(Simple) and since I recently just moved to Alaska I needed some makeup remover stat! So I stopped at the local PX(Fort Richardson Base) and they have a makeup, beauty, cosmetics section that is to die for its like a mini Ulta or Sephora!!! Which I love!!! :) so I came across this makeup remover I've heard of bliss but haven't tried many of there products so I figured I would try it because from all the hype blis products sound pretty great! This product was 13.60$
Product description says that it quickly dissolves makeup calming, cool gel formula oil free and non-irritating. It's for all skin types, it also says to store in refrigerator door to boost its cooling, calming, and de-puffing effects :)
Yeah my favorites for last month are kind of late. Just been very busy!! Anyways here is a list:
- Beautiful Disaster- SUCH AN AMAZING BOOK!! Must read def.
- THe Lorax Movie :)
- Simple Eye Make Up Remover
- Garnier Skin Renew B.B. Cream
- Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher
- Rimmel Blush in Pink Sorbet
- Covergirl Lash blast luxe Mascara
- Benefit High beam
- MAC Paint Pot in Genuine Treasure
- MAC Mineralized Skinfinish in Semi Precious Goldstone
- Rimmel Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer

I love this leave in treatment! I bought it from my local drugstore for about 9-12$ it definitely worth it!! It smells amazing and my hair has felt softer and healthier since using it. I spray evenly all over hair then comb it through my hair!
Heh yes I have a nailpolish problem again this is a collective haul!
From left to right:
1.) L'Oreal Penthouse Pink
2.) L'Oreal Club Prive
3.) L'Oreal Stroke Of Midnight
4.) Elle Some Like It Lilac
5.) Elle Surfer Babe
6.) Revlon Radiant
7.) Revlon Coastal Surf
8.) OPI If You Moust You Moust
9.) China Glaze Swing Baby
10.) Orly Rage
This is a collective haul I did not purchase these all at one time! Each nail polish is 8$ each. BUT a few I got from my local TJ Maxx for 3.99$ HOW GREAT IS THAT!!! I was so excited when I saw the price, I am thinking they are older colors.
Here is a list of the nailpolish from left to right:
1. Smooth Sailing 3.99$
2. Luxe Effects Stroke Of brilliance
3. Midnight Cami
4. Dive Bar
5. Soirée Mauve 3.99$
6. Your Hut or Mine 3.99$
7. Infatuation 3.99$
8. Exposure 3.99$
9. Lovie Dovie
10. Play Date
11. Penny Talk
Now the ones that were 3.99$ I noted beside that polish and left it blank for the 8$ ones!!
I picked up two of the Flirt! brand blushes! You can get these from your local Kohl's or online by Clicking HERE! These blushes cost 14.50 each, which used to be the price of a MAC Blush! I chose Pink Tutu and All Dolled Up These brushes have great color payoff! a little goes a long way most definitely, so don't just swirl your brush around all crazy on this blush and then applying it to your face because you will end up looking like a clown. Build up to the color you want with using a little at a time. I don't think I would pay 14.50 again for these blushes, I would rather save my money get another dollar and buy two MAC blushes!! haa ok moving on. The flash doesn't really do the colors justice it totally takes away the pink and rose in these blushes! making them look more like bronzers, the colors are very gorgeous though. I just think the price is not fitting for the product, but since it is Kohl's everything is overpriced there. Here are some swatches: The order of the photos goes in this order for the first two: Top row: Left to Right: Natural light(NL), then flash(F). Bottom Row: Natural Light, Natural Light.
(Left to Right)Top Row: NL, F Bottom Row: NL, NL
(Left To Right) Top Row:NL, NL, Bottom Row: F, NL
Now this one could be a bit confusing although I am hoping you can tell which is flash and which is natural light. Anyways the Left Longer side is flash while the upper right picture is natural light. In the longer left picture and upper right picture : Pink Tutu is the first swatch, it has gold shimmer in it and is a bit more rosey then the one beside it. Next to Pink Tutu, All Dolled Up is swatched its more pink when swatched, it just have a bit of shimmer in it.
Overall I really love these blushes I just don't agree with the price tag.
Would you pick up these blushes? What do you think about them? Love & Lipstick,
Lately I have been very intrigued with this brand, but a lot of their things can be very very pricey! I'm always excited to get something for cheap from this brand because you know its good quality! So I saw these mini super cute day and night creams! I'm like this will be a great way to try the product before I pay over 20$ for the full size item. I paid roughly 3-4$ for each of these mini cream jars. I picked them up from my Local Drug Store, I haven't had a chance to try the creams out, but I am hoping I will get the chance this week so I can review it and see how I feel about it. Now i thought oh paying 3-4$ and they are in these mini jars they won't be much product in the jars, but when I opened it up I was pleasantly surprised. They are filled to the brim as much as possible!! and I think that with face products a little always goes a long way. They have a light normal face cream smell, except the Vitamin C+ Day Cream has a light citrus scent. All of these creams are made with Artic heather(?) The day creams have an SPF of 15. Each Jar is 15ml or 0.5 fl oz. I would have got the Vitamin C+ Night Cream but I didn't see any available in the mini size. So here are the creams broken down. Also the Firming Day Cream has a kind of off white color tone, while the Firming Night Cream has a Bright very bright white color tone, and the Pure Radiance Day cream has a light orange tint to it. 1. Firming Day Cream- TIME FREEZE 2. Firming Night Cream- Time Freeze goes with the above mentioned day ream 3. Pure Radiance Day Cream Vitamin C+ Here are some pictures:
Natural Light (Left to right: Firming Day Cream, Firming Night Cream, Pure Radiance Day Cream)
So I was at my local drug store and saw this mask, Im not sure why it got my attention? Maybe the colors or the promise it made to tighten my pores and absorb the oil on my face! or maybe its that its from another country? Either one of those would do it for me. I picked this up for 9.99 at my local drugstore! but you could get it from Ulta on sale for only 6.99$ CLICK HERE As soon as I got home I tried it out, it smells EXACTLY like a sample I received in My October 2011 Birchbox. The sample was Pangea Organics Facial Mask HERE.. It does smell lighter then Pangea Organics , and the cost difference is massive 6.99-9.99 as opposed to 40$ for the Pangea Organics. There is a slight ounce difference but not bad at all for the price and what your getting 3.4 fl oz in Lumene Finland mask and 4fl oz in the Pangea Organics, which I think is another plus about this product! The texture also is different I remember the Pangea Organics being very chunky and hard to apply to my skin, I would have more product on my fingers from applying it then on my face. BUT with the Lumene Finland Matt Touch Deep-Cleansing Peat Mask its smooth like a mousse, and has little to barely any tiny specks. This is by far ALOT better then Pangea Organics Facial Mask! This mask is also Paraben-Free and has over 85% natural ingredients!! After I used the mask and rinsed it off I did notice a few blotches of redness..they faded after about 5 minutes, but my skin looked pretty fabulous after I used it. It says for best results use 1-2 times a week, and leave on for 10 minutes! Over time you should notice oil absorption and tighter pores!! Here are some product pictures!
I am loving this product a whole bunch more knowing its alot like the Pangea Organics BUT BETTER and cheaper!!! :)
So the Splat! Hair kit I recommend AGAINST! I loved the results after doing the bleaching and adding the color and how it looked, but every time I have gotten in the shower the water is pink. Now I have dyed my hair funky colors before and I never had that problem! The pink looks more natural but I'm going for a stand out bright vibrant look!! So Since the pink is now faded, I stopped at Sally's a few days ago and picked up some gloves and a different brand of hair dye! They were out of my favorite Manic Panic Pink! So I chose Beyond the Zone Pro Formula Color JamZ Bubble Head Pink , and Colortrak Black Reusable latex Gloves.
So Zoya was having a BOGO(buy one get one) special but you had to have a code. So I got a few polishes I have been eyeing up one for quite some time and finally decided this is te perfect chance to get that and a few others!
- Robyn- gorgeous sky blue
- Song- shimmery dark deep blue (reminds me of China Glazes Blue Year's Eve- except China glaze is a bit bluer)
- Rory- shimmery magenta pink
I will do swatches in another post, also a side by side comparison of China Glaze's Blue Year's Eve & Zoya's Song!
Did anyone else use Zoya's BOGO Code? What did you get?
So I waited a bit before I bought these, a lot of te time new things come out and people just want it for the hype. So I waited looked up tons of swatches etc. and decided these were the two I would get! I love taupe colors and bronze colors so of course these were perfect!!! They are super creamy!! I do not love these more then my paint pots though!! But these are also fantastic quality for being Drug Store brand. They are about 6-8$ depending on where you get them. Totally worth purchasing! You can use them as a base or alone! The colors are so gorgeous!!!!
Do you have any of the Maybelline Color Tattoos? Are you wanting to get some? And what colors?
I am a big fan of Katy Perry, so I saw these lashes and I just had to have them. I don't know why, I am so terrible at applying lashes! There are four different lashes: Sweetie Pie, Cool Kitty, Pretty, & Oh, Honey! All of the lashes come with eye glue except Pretty which is Self Adhesive. They all came with Stickers that had the eyelash names on them except Pretty which I may or may not have accidentally lost it while opening it up.
The eyelashes are round 6-8$
